Morning Meeting with #theBossofMe 10.30.2020
By HisGrace💜👸🏽♐️🦋🦄
Inspired By: Behold the Lilies- Daily Meditations for Christian Women (Verna Mast & Susan Schwartz)
😇: Leviticus 1:13 He shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the Lord.
📚: The term “service” is used throughout Scripture to refer to the work of those committed to help others. Teachers, ministers, and nurses are the fields of service that most oft come to mind when thinking of ways that women can choose to serve others. We all have opportunities, in one way or another, to serve underserved groups or individuals. God’s kingdom needs women like you and me who are willing to serve the people who choose to live in unity in God’s Kingdom. Needed are women who sacrifice themselves for the cause of other women both joyfully and voluntarily. Those who sacrifice only out of obligation, will never know the genuine joy of giving.
🦋: Voluntarily doing God’s will results in receiving His blessings.
🎬: I must rest assured that although service work usually does not pay well, is rarely acknowledged, and is very under appreciated, the rewards I receive (both in my little slice of Heaven on earth and after this life is done) will be totally worth my efforts!
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Inspired By: Our Daily Bread/Everyone Needs A Mentor (Alyson Kieda) 😇: Titus 1:4 To Titus, my true son in our common Faith.
🦄: As I read the testimony of this writer’s description of receiving a dreaded call into her bosses office, I immediately empathized with the feelings of wariness that engulfed her, leaving her near tears… making her appear to be that (imagined 😒) dreaded, overly emotional female controlled by her body’s cycle. I’ve encountered many supervisors, both male and female, that caused those same feelings of “never good enough” to rise up and threaten my peace (and freedom from incarceration, tbth💁🏽♀️). I was all set to shout a real loud, “AMEN!”, when her story took an unfamiliar turn. Her NEW boss welcomed her warmly, asked her to share her story, goals, and frustrations. Sensing a trap, as most of us would—due to past experience, the writer took a moment to observe her boss and was pleasantly surprised to find him listening intently with a kindly expression, and choosing to communicate using gentle words. This supervisor eventually became her mentor at work, her encourager, and her friend.
📚: Paul was such a mentor to Titus way back when. He offered Titus helpful instruction and guidelines for his role. Paul not only taught, but also modeled how “to teach sound doctrine” (2:1), set an example by doing what is good, and “show(ed) integrity, seriousness, and soundness of speech” (vv. 7-8). As a result Titus came to be Paul’s partner, brother, and co-worker (2 Corinthians 2:13, 8:23). Titus went on to mentor others.
🦋: I have had gifted mentors throughout my life who taught me well.
🎬: I am excited to meet the person who will next guide me with knowledge, encouragement, and faith in God! 🥳 I also must wait patiently for this person to make themselves known. 😔
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Inspired By: It’s a Good Morning Just Because You LoveMe. (Diane Dahlen, Cari Dugan, Laura Krause, Shannon Lindsay, Cate Mezyk, Stephanie Sample)/Real Love
😇: Isaiah 64:4 Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides You, who acts on behalf of those who wait on him.
📚: authenticity: from the Greek authentikos meaning “original, genuine, principal.
🦄: I come across an item upon occasion that leaves me wondering about its authenticity. Items like: purses, gemstones, promises, and people. Let us not forget people, who most often are the opposite of genuine… the expression “If it sounds too good to be true…” pops into my head causing me to scrutinize the people and possessions in my life to confirm realness.
🦋: All of God’s promises are good and true. God’s love is authentic.
🎬: I must allow God to act on my behalf and hold His promises close to my heart.

🎬: Feel free to share notes & references from your 10.30.2020 Prayer/Meditation/Spirituality in the comments below. 💜😇👸🏽🦋🦄
