😇: Mark 1:45 And they came to him from every quarter.
📚: Just what made Jesus so attractive? Well during the time period that the story of Jesus took place, there was much unrest and fear…kind of like exactly what is going on in the good ole U. S. of A. today. Somehow, Jesus won the hearts of the simple and commanded the respect even of the doubtful and contentious (contentious: c. 1500 “quarrelsome, apt to contend,” from Latin contentiosus “obstinate, quarrelsome,” from contentionem {nominative contentio} “a vigorous struggling, a contest, a fight“). Jesus had an honest, straight-forward, and open character marked by humility. There was no falsehood, bigotry, or deception in his manner. Fear, callousness, and partiality held no place in Jesus’ life. His compassionate heart reached out to the widow, the guilty, the hurting, the sick, and the hungry. Jesus did not condone sin, yet he accepted the sinner. Upon His return home, Jesus passed the responsibility to carry on his work to the believers remaining on earth.
🦋: Even though I am far from perfect, God loves me just as I am. To Him I am good enough.
🎬: I must allow God’s Spirit to fill and transform me daily enabling me to be the best me I can be each day.
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Inspired By: Our Daily Bread/God Hears Everything (James Banks) 😇: 1 Kings 18:36 Let it be known today that You are God.
📚: In 2008 a homeowner received an invitation to a party. The invitation was originally mailed in 1919 to a resident at that address. This incident is the longest recorded postal delay in history–a delay of eighty-nine years! No one knows the reason behind the delay. 🤷🏽♀️ Even the best human communication sometimes let me down, but Scripture makes it clear that God never fails to hear his faithful people. In 1 Kings 18, Elijah demonstrated the striking contrast between the pagan god Baal and Jehovah by participating in a showdown. Elijah proved who the true God was when he taunted the Baal believers after they had brayed for hours. 😂He told them: “Shout louder… surely he is a god! Perhaps he is in deep thought, or busy, or traveling. Maybe he is sleeping and must be awakened…”(v.27) 😏Then Elijah took the mic and prayed for Jehova to answer so that His people might return to faith. God’s power was then clearly displayed!🎤
🦋: God treasures my prayers so much that He keeps them before Him in “golden bowls” like precious incense. (Revelation 5:8)
🎬: I must remember that while God answers every prayer in His own perfect wisdom in His own perfect time, the answer sometimes is simply “No”…or other times it could be “Not now.”

😇: Colossians 2:6 Just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him.
📚: There is a fullness to the Christian life that goes beyond salvation. The Scripture says that to continue my life in God, I must take the opportunity to nurture this relationship daily. As I grow with God, I experience a deep assurance of my faith and am empowered to live a full life.
🦋: I am grateful for all of the good things God is doing in my life as I re-discover strength after strength.
🎬:To learn from God, to strengthen my faith, and to practice gracefulness, I must follow Jesus’ example and listen to God’s voice.
