Love Should be Steadfast!

🦄: Love is one thing that should be given freely by all, but instead, seems to be the one thing humans seek yet struggle to find. In today’s society, Love appears to be transactional. “I’ll love you if (or when) you do…(insert impossible expectation here).” I have been blessed to experience that steadfast type of love from more than one human being. I still get to experience it every day from my tribe. I also get to experience it every minute from my God.
I feel that people have a strange perception of what it means to love and accept love in return. Many believe that in order to maintain a loving relationship, those involved must agree on everything all of the time. If I had that view, my life would be dark and very sad. I rarely agree with anyone, lol, so if that’s a condition of being loved or having my love accepted, then I am doomed to be unloved. I’m grateful that I learned better!
“Steadfast love doesn’t easily offend. It can weather extreme strain. It can handle faithlessness. Steadfast love doesn’t quit when the recipient’s love grows cold.“2 This is how the love of God behaves and the love I attempt to emulate daily. The task of being a steadfast lover is by no means an easy one. It’s is much easier to turn my back on those who cause endless distress in my life. I’ve found the answer to lie in the verse from Deuteronomy.
Moving on is not synonymous with abandoning. At times it is necessary to stop worrying about a storm , move on, and just let God do what he does.
🦋: God promises fidelity and faithful love even when I am not faithful to him.
🎬: I must keep moving on with courage and look past the circumstances in life to simply believe that God will bring be beyond each mountain until I reach my glorious goals of Heaven on Earth, now, and Heaven beyond the Earth, later.
